To create a dynamic Capitol City gateway image was the goal of this $25 million Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport terminal expansion and modernization. The striking entrance canopy, light-filled central rotunda, and new concourse and departure lounges are key elements of the design that meets and exceeds this goal by minimizing congestion, improving access, and enhancing airline operations.
In collaboration with HNTB Corporation, WHL developed the design that supports regional economic plans while providing opportunities for a growing Capitol City.
