Sunrise Dermatology is a private, patient-focused, two-physician dermatology center with an ambulatory surgical treatment center for Mohs surgery. The 9,200 sf center is dedicated to the provision of the highest-quality surgical services for the treatment of skin cancer and for the repair and reconstruction of surgical wounds. The Mohs procedure is a highly specialized dermatology procedure performed under local anesthesia and is essentially a pathology-sectioning method that allows for the complete examination of the surgical margin.

The dermatology center is energy efficient by utilizing the wall mass for layered insulation and by insulating the entire building envelope. The exterior finishes are designed to minimize the solar heat gain by having a white roof on the low sloped roof areas, a reflective natural metal roof on the high pitched roof areas, and windows furnished with permanent wood louvers. The interior of the center is focused on creating a naturally clean and open-air environment for the patient as well as the employees in order to promote wellness and healing.
