As the original facility was designed with the inevitable expansion and renovations of medical facilities in mind, this 224,000 sf expansion of the Bluebonnet Campus is added seamlessly to the existing hospital. A new emergency department, labor and delivery suites, operating suites, radiation/ oncology suite, and intensive care units are part of the expansion and renovation of the Bluebonnet Campus that will nearly double the size of the medical center’s facilities while allowing it to address the more acute needs of today’s population.
