This 300,000 sf expansion and renovation of the North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond will mesh seamlessly with the existing hospital structure. The new 5-story tower will include an Emergency Department, Surgery Department, Intensive Care units, Labor and Delivery Department, NICU, Pediatric Units, and Inpatient Care Units as well as a new main entry to the hospital.
Designed to build upon the contemporary aesthetic of the signature building, this light-filled expansion uses curved curtain wall systems, sun shading devices, glass canopies, and metal panels to impart the contemporary and progressive nature of this growing hospital system.
