The Perkins Road Medical Plaza is a four-story medical office building designed for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Its single tenant is the Baton Rouge Clinic, a multi-specialty group consisting of 72 physicians.
The plan concept consists of a series of “doctors’ pods” organized around shared waiting areas and check-in stations. Each pod is comprised of exam rooms, doctors’ offices, nurses’ stations, and support spaces connected to the other pods by a rear corridor to facilitate consultation, as well as expansion.
